An active and growing municipality offering a wide range of leisure opportunities, picturesque natural landscapes, and affordable housing
Become part of a community that does things together. We naturally engage with each other and welcome new neighbours with open arms. We focus on the common good, open doors for each other, and promote each other’s strengths. We aim to create the good life together – with the involvement of both new and old acquaintances as well as budding talents and those with a little more experience.
Things to consider before moving to Haderslev
Things to consider once you have arrived in Haderslev
Things to help you integrate into the municipality
Meet the locals and learn more about their favourite places, their jobs, and their way of life – who knows, perhaps they could even be your new neighbours! Newcomers tell their stories about moving to their new city and home in Haderslev – and share their advice with other newcomers.
At just one hour away from Flensburg, two hours away from Hamburg, and one hour away from Odense, Haderslev is a great location close to everything you need. Living in Haderslev and Denmark offers great proximity to highways, rail networks, etc. to make daily life here more comfortable without spending hours stuck in traffic. As you will be living with nature on your doorstep, you can use your spare time to visit The Little Belt, the incredible island of Aarø, beaches, and Haderslev Inlet – which you can find all the way from the centre of Haderslev to the harbour in Aarøsund.
